DDK Paris 2017

On Friday, 10 November, DuPho presents a special edition of De Donkere Kamer in Paris during Paris Photo in collaboration with World Press Photo. The location is the prestigious Galleria Carla Sozzani, where the World Press Photo Exhibition 2017 will be on display from 4 November.

During this special Paris edition, DDK live will highlight Dutch photography, but of course, international guests will also attend.

Among other guests:

  • Photographer Vincent van de Wijngaard, who lives in Paris and is represented by Art & Commerce, will be interviewed about his work and outstanding career.
  • Donald Weber and Nancy Borowick will talk about their documentary projects, ‘War Sands’ and ‘The Family Imprint’ in a double interview.
  • Roy Kahmann presents HAUTE Photographie 2018.
  • Anoek Steketee, currently exhibiting at Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum, will speak about her new book, ‘Stateless’.
  • Rob Hornstra and Eddo Hartmann will also present their new books during a short interview. Both during the break and after the presentations you will have the chance to have your book signed
  • Lotte Sprengers (head of photography KABK) will share a short critique on photography and education.
  • Carla van de Puttelaar will be interviewed about her work and just released book Adornments. 
  • Sander Troelstra talks about his portraits of the outsider artists which arre exhibited next to their own works in The Hermitage Adam
